We're looking for a few talented actors to join the cast of our October 2026 performance of SONDER.

About SONDER

It's August 2021 in New York City, one year after the COVID lockdown. Following CDC guidance due to an uptick in positive cases, Mayor Bill de Blasio announces that masks will be required beginning August 16th. After already being isolated for months, four gay friends meet for an afternoon of cocktails, where the isolation quickly blurs the lines between love, sex, lies, jealousy, friendship and murder.​​

Roles​

• Kurt (25-35) An unapologetic non-conformist who marches to the beat of his own drum.

• Scott (24-35) High-strung, sharp-witted, and deeply sarcastic.

• Steve (20-45) A grounded bouncer with vital ensemble-doubling capacity (also portrays a homeless man and a priest).

• Grayson (18-26) A youthful presence who doubles as a panhandler and tour guide.

• Milo (18-35) Privileged, high-energy, and a dedicated gym enthusiast.

• Lee (25-39) Protective, masculine, Older brother type.

What to Prepare

Please come prepared with a brief contemporary monologue (1–2 minutes) that highlights your range or read from "Sides" available in advance. Bring a current headshot and resume if available.
